About Me
My name is Susan. I earned a BS degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University and a Master’s degree in Jungian and Archetypal Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am currently a PhD candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute. My current research interest is discovering and interpreting the evolving feminine God-image as it is manifesting in Christian symbolism and popular culture. The growing popularity of Mary Magdalen among feminists, religious scholars, and the collective imagination is of particular interest to me.
My favorite activities include reading, writing, running and hiking with my two female German shepherd dogs, knitting, pilates, yoga, and creating beautiful spaces that inspire creativity and personal growth.
I envision this site as a conversation with others who might be interested in similar topics. At times I will share personal reflections, at times scholarly research, and sometimes humor or relevant satire. Are you ready to rise above the fray and see things from the perspective of the ravens?
